Morgan Fox

Bio
Morgan Fox, born in New York, NY in 1946, is a woman with many talents. An avid Morgan Fox reader and brillant conversationalist, she has always been known for her cheery disposition.

After graduating from high school, Morgan enjoyed a brief modeling career in New York before heading to Sweet Briar College in Virginia. In her Junior year, she traveled to Sweden to begin exploring the world. She continued her travels after school, living in India for a year before settling in Vancouver, Canada. There she studied neurology and pathology and was instrumental in establishing one of the first women's health collectives in North America.

In 1975, she moved to California and has lived there ever since. She is the founder of the Morgan Fox Agency, an advertising and marketing company handling promotions for many businesses including Heidelberg Editions International, Jewels of Ancient Lands and the Children's Craft Village. As well as being an active business woman, Morgan has also raised four children.

It is only recently that Morgan began exploring her own creative talent as an artist. In May 2001, after receiving a diagnosis of early-onset Alzheimer's disease, she began working with her close friends and family to remain physically and mentally stimulated. This led to ventures in painting which, as you can see, are a natural venue for her.

Even as the progression of Alzheimer's sometimes steals her words, through her art Morgan has been able to continue expressing her spirit. Perhaps it is a cliche, perhaps it is true, but I believe her pictures are worth a thousand words anew. We all remain hopeful as we venture on. Morgan hopes these pictures speak to you of carrying on. Despite the many challenges the road ahead may bring, Morgan remains, as Dr. Bruce Miller once said, "The Happy Alzheimer's Patient". She has plenty of hope and cheer to share with all of you.
